Lisa Skelton hails from beautiful Lake Macquarie, growing up around the water has fostered a deep love and curiosity for our marine environment and the life it sustains. After high school, Lisa went on to complete a double bachelors degree in Music and Teaching at University of Newcastle. A holiday to the United States during semester break, to fulfil a life-long dream of seeing orca in the wild saw Lisa pick up her first DSLR and never look back.
Today, Lisa uses her photographic skills to help maintain a population census of our Port Stephens resident bottlenose dolphins. Currently working as a deckhand for Aquamarine Adventures, she enjoys sharing her passion for our marine life with guests on board ‘Envision’.
